Absenteeism Hotline

Allow parents/Guardians to report a child absent from school without taking up staff time over the telephone.

Parents/Guardians can call into the Absenteeism Hotline, which can be integrated as an option into a a Parent Information Line, and record the child’s details onto the staggered voicemail, answering one question at a time, for example….

- Parents Name
- Childs Name
- Childs Form
- Nature of Absence
and so on….

All the recorded details are then sent as an email direct to the Absenteeism Officer/School Secretary who can listen to the recordings through their computer speakers at their leisure and record the child officially absent.

The system relieves staff time in having to take these messages in real time but allows many messages to be taken at the same time and delivered to the right person who can deal with the messages at the right time, ie, when the registers come back from form, etc.

Due to the staggered voicemail functionality messages are taken in the same order each time, avoiding confusion, and are clear and concise as the system reminds callers to speak clearly and spell any unusual words.
